How to Apply for a Kenya eTA?

The Kenya eTA application is a simple online process that requires a few key steps:

    • A scanned copy of your passport bio page (valid for at least six months).
    • A recent passport-size photo.
    • Proof of accommodation booking or an invitation letter (for business or visiting relatives).

Types of Kenya Electronic Travel Authorization

Kenya offers five types of eTA, each serving a different purpose:

  • Transit eTA – Single Entry: For travelers passing through Kenya on their way to another destination. It is valid for 90 days from the issue date but only allows a short stay during transit.
